Used together, their anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects and notably for anti-tumor effects prevented growth of U266 multiple myeloma cells. (1) In Chinese medicine, frankincense-myrrh are components of an anti-tumor drug for various cancers with the newest research showing its effect on hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). How? By regulating pathological processes like cytokine-receptor binding and pathways and targeting the blood vessels that support tumors in HCC.
